Contents

Syntax

load.sin(node,dof,alpha,omega,phi)

where

Parameter description type default
node The acting node integer -
dof The acting dof integer -
alpha Width float -
omega Frequency float -
phi Angle float -

Examples

Create a sinusoidal load at node 1 dof y with magnitude f(t)=1.5sin(πt+π/2). This should be equal to f(t)=1.5cos(πt).

 node.sin(1, 2, 1.5, 3.14159, 0.5*3.14159)
